You pick up a book about something happening in or near Israel and you kind of expect it to be about the Israelis, about how they're awesome, or about how they're evil, or about them in some way.
This book is about... Not the Israelis. It's about the Palestinians. It's about internal conflict in the West Bank community. Communities? That's really the thing the book is trying to make you think about. And it does.

What is the All Books Project?
The All Books Project is a challenge to obsessive readers everywhere. How many people can say they've actually read every book they own? Well, anyone who completes the ABP can.
How does it work? Simply.
1. List every book you own, devide the list into read and unread books.
2. Write something about every book you've read. It can be a question, an argument, a list of favourite quotes. It can be anything except a synopsis or a review. Write as if you were talking to someone who has already read the book.
3. Every book comment must include as a header the following: a. the title, b. the author, c. the genre (you can make your genres as general or specific as you wish), d. the karmic points of the book (on a scale of -20 to +20, how much does reading the book add to or detract from your enjoyment of your daily life), and e. a link to your favourite review.
4. After you have posted comments for every book on your books read list (you may add books to the list as you do this), begin reading through your unread books list without purchasing any new books. That's right, you can't buy a new book unless you've finished your entire unread books list.
5. Exception: you must borrow and read any book which a friend/lover/relative praises highly and offers their own copy of.
6. Schedule and Limits: There is no deadline for completing the entire books read list, however you must a. finish one book every week and b. never read more than four books at one time.
